Hi John,
     Thank you for checking on us. We are fine, we're up about 180ft. so we don't worry about tsunamis hitting us, just an occasional 
     earthquake. We've felt 3 since we've lived here, all about 3.5, not bad. There was some boat damage at a couple of the marinas 
     and some beach damage but not a lot more than that here. The big island got the highest wave, 11 ft. with a couple hotels getting 
     flooded and marinas.
     Hopefully your son's girlfriend is far south of the nuclear zone, that's scary. I think I'd go to school somewhere else! But glad to hear 
     they're ok
